Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep yourdata — and your clients’ documents — safe.

Effective 23 September 2026 | Last updated 23 September 2026

01 Who we are

Jubeex is a brand of Melixa Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at C-502, Second Floor, Sushant Lok-1, Gurugram, Haryana 122009 (“Jubeex”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Jubeex provides software that reviews court filings before they are filed, identifies defects such as missing documents or formatting issues, and helps users correct them (the “Service”). The Service is available on our website at www.jubeex.com and through our mobile applications.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), Melixa Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.

02 Scope of this policy

This policy applies to everyone who visits our website, downloads our app, creates an account, or uses the Service. By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

03 Information we collect

Information you give us
  • Account details — your name, email address, phone number, password, firm or organisation name, designation, and professional details such as your enrolment or Advocate-on-Record number where you choose to provide them.
  • Documents and case materials — petitions, annexures, applications, affidavits and other files you upload for review, along with any edits you make inside the Service.
  • Billing details — billing name, address and GST number (if you want a GST invoice).
  • Communications — messages you send us through email, phone, chat or support forms.
Information collected automatically
  • Usage data — pages and features used, actions taken, time spent, and errors encountered.
  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device model, app version, and crash reports.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Cookies below.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay Software Private Limited. Your card, UPI, net-banking or wallet details are entered directly on Razorpay’s secure systems. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking passwords. We only receive a confirmation of payment, a transaction reference, and limited details such as the payment method used.

04 How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
  • To provide the Service — scanning your documents, detecting defects, suggesting and applying fixes, and generating indexes or draft documents.
  • To process payments, issue invoices and manage subscriptions.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To send service messages such as receipts, security alerts, and changes to our terms or policies.
  • To send product updates and offers, where you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
  • To monitor, maintain and improve the reliability, accuracy and security of the Service.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents.
  • To comply with applicable law, court orders and requests from government authorities.

05 Your uploaded documents

We understand that the documents you upload may contain confidential and privileged information about you and your clients. We treat them accordingly.
  • Your documents are used only to provide the Service to you.
  • We do not sell your documents or the information in them.
  • We do not use your documents to train artificial intelligence models offered to other customers.
  • Access by our staff is limited to what is necessary to provide support you request, investigate a technical problem, or comply with the law.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload the documents you share with us, including any personal data of your clients or other parties they contain.

06 Consent and legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you create an account or use the Service, and for other legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as complying with the law or responding to a medical emergency or a legal claim.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us at hello@jubeex.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and we may no longer be able to provide the Service to you once consent is withdrawn.

07 Who we share your information with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only in these situations:
  • Service providers who help us run the Service — cloud hosting and storage, document processing and optical character recognition (OCR), AI processing, authentication, email and messaging, analytics, and customer support tools. They may only use your data to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Payment partners — Razorpay, to process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Legal requirements — where required by law, regulation, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Jubeex, our users or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to your data.
  • With your consent — in any other case where you ask us to or agree to it.

08 Storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers located in India. Some of our service providers may process data outside India; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected and the transfer is permitted under Indian law.

We use reasonable security practices, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, activity logging, and regular reviews of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your password confidential and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

If a personal data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

09 How long we keep your information

  • Correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Erase personal data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, unless we must keep it by law.

We will confirm your request and delete your account, profile and uploaded documents within 30 days. We will retain invoices and transaction records only for as long as the law requires, as described in section 09. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed through a third-party store; please cancel it there as well.

12 Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, keep the Service secure, and understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the Service may not work.

13 Children

The Service is meant for legal professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

14 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the Service before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
